The Master Degree of Contemporary Artistic Creation at the University of Aveiro and Binaural/Nodar announce the co-organization of an artistic residency in the Gralheira mountain range (specifically occurring in the Portuguese rural communities of Candal, Póvoa das Leiras and Coelheira) between April 25th and 28th, 2019 integrated in the activities of Tramontana Network and entitled “A Serra ou a arte do encontro” (“The mountain and the art of the encounter”).

This will be the ninth consecutive edition of this artistic residency which will be developed in a context of territorial immersion, questioning the relationship between artistic creation and the rural world and including an opportunity for technical learning in the field of soundscapes.
