This is an initiative of La Leggera, Bambun and LEM Italia as part of the “Creative Europe Tramontana IV” project.
The Italian edition of the Tramontana Festival, «Soglie | Cammini | Passaggi», runs from 24 October to 7 November 2026 in Tuscany and Abruzzo, and is the result of a collaboration between the three Italian partner associations of the Tramontana Network: La Leggera APS (Tuscany), Bambun APS and LEM Italia (Abruzzo). After its opening in Tuscany with «SOGLIE» (Thresholds), in Pontassieve and Colognole, the festival moves to Abruzzo with «CAMMINI» (Paths), organised in two events in Fano Adriano and Teramo, before closing on 7 November in Montorio al Vomano.
On Saturday 31 October, Fano Adriano hosts an afternoon dedicated to the journey of the Tramontana Network through the mountains of Europe, with the project partners, followed by a round table comparing three walking routes in the Apennines. In the evening, Flavia Monfrini presents the performance «U biviu – Oblivium», the outcome of her artistic residency under the Tramontana Network call Artist Residencies at Digital Archives, followed by a festive evening with music from Tuscany, Abruzzo and Umbria.

The festival continues on Thursday 5 November in Teramo and Garrano Alto, and closes on Saturday 7 November in Montorio al Vomano.
