The Bambun team consolidated their anthropological field research in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga areas (Abruzzo, Italy), with documentation on social rites and practices, technical and craft knowledge, knowledge of nature and musical activities and dances by means of video films, sound recordings and photographs. In addition, the Association also carried out searches in local and national archives (ICCD, MNATP and ARSI), to discover collections of photographs, audio documents and texts particularly important for the history of the territory. During these studies, more than 1,000 photographic images (including around 600 of the Fondo Sebastiana Papa) were digitized and stored; videos and photographs taken by other researchers were also collected.
