REVIVE & TRAMONTANA
October 2nd, 2024

Activity developed by LEM-Italia as part of the Tramontana Network project, co-funded by the Creative Europe programme.

Presentation of two projects co-funded by the Creative Europe programme: Revive Project: Urban regeneration through cultural and creative industries. Tramontana IV Project: Collecting, cataloguing and disseminating the intangible cultural heritage of rural and mountain areas. On 2 October 2024, the associations LEM-Italia and ITACA for Local Development successfully hosted a delegation of Norwegian university students for a workshop that explored two important projects funded by the Creative Europe programme.

These projects aim to significantly improve the local tangible and intangible heritage. The meeting held in the province of Teramo provided an essential platform to discuss the design and management of initiatives aimed at documenting and enhancing local intangible heritage (Tramontana) and promoting urban regeneration and cultural industries (REVIVE).

Participants engaged in a productive dialogue on how these two projects can collaborate effectively within the community, merging oral traditions with the tangible heritage represented by public buildings, squares, churches and neglected structures. These sites have the potential to be revitalised through dynamic local engagement initiatives.
