This event is organized by Eth Ostau Comengés as part of the Tramontana Network project.

Dear elected officials, dear presidents of Halhaires associations, and residents of Comminges.

It has now been 10 years since the summer solstice fire festivals of the Pyrenees were inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Many initiatives, reflections, and attempts to reclaim the tradition have been observed. As part of the Total Festum – Tramontana IV Festival dedicated to the cultural heritage of Europe’s mountains, we invite you to a
This will be an opportunity to put our experiences into perspective, bringing together both tradition bearers and field observers. Several testimonials and shared experiences will fuel the discussion and allow us to take stock of the challenges and prospects of this inscription for the vitality of our Pyrenean and Gascon culture.

This gathering will conclude with a reception hosted by Eths Amassats de Barousse.

Cet événement est organisé par Eth Ostau Comengés dans le cadre du projet Réseau Tramontana.

Chers élus, chers présidents d’association halhaires, commingeois et commingeoises.

Voilà maintenant 10 ans que les fêtes du feu du solstice d’été des Pyrénées sont inscrites à la Liste Représentative du Patrimoine Culturel Immatériel de l’Humanité. Beaucoup d’initiatives, de réflexions ou de tentatives de réappropriation de la tradition ont été observées. Dans le cadre du Festival Total Festum -Tramontana IV dédié au patrimoine culturel des montagnes d’Europe, nous vous invitions à une table ronde.

Ce sera l’occasion de remettre en perspective nos expériences entre porteurs de la tradition et observateurs de terrain. Plusieurs témoignages et partage d’expérience viendront nourrir le débat et nous permettre de faire le point sur les enjeux et les perspectives de ce classement pour la vitalité de notre culture pyrénéenne et gasconne.

Cette rencontre sera terminera par un pot animé par Eths Amassats de Barousse.
