We are honored to announce the public presentation of the first winners of the Prix Euròc’Vision en Gasconha, an initiative led by Ràdio País, Eth Ostau Comengés, and Numériculture Gascogne, as part of the Tramontana Network project, co-funded by the Creative Europe Program.
The first awards ceremony for the 2025/2026 edition will take place on March 27, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the Saint-Gaudens Intermunicipal Media Library. This event is also part of the 21st Passa-Pòrts Festival.
Euròc’Vision is a competition in creative writing, oral expression, and music that celebrates the Gascon and Occitan regional languages, with the goal of promoting the cultural and artistic richness of the region. The presentation will be led by three high school students from the Lycée Bagatelle in Saint-Gaudens, who are studying Occitan. The musical entertainment will be provided by the Bigourdan duo Clément Rousse and Benjamin Bouyssou.
This project also receives financial support from the Hautes-Pyrénées Departmental Council and is part of an initiative aimed at strengthening artistic creation in regional languages.
