This event is organized by Eth Ostau Comengés as part of the Tramontana Network project.
A musical lecture dedicated to Saint John’s Day and the traditions associated with the summer solstice celebrations in the Central Pyrenees, presented by Matiu Fauré and Dominique Barès. The session will explore the cultural, festive, and musical dimensions of these celebrations, which are deeply rooted in Pyrenean communities and linked to fire rituals, conviviality, and the transmission of folk traditions.
Following the lecture, a discussion and Q&A session with the audience will provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and reflect on these traditions. The event will conclude with a toast to friendship in a warm and festive atmosphere.
