Yesterday, as part of the Tramontana Network project, Bambun inaugurated the multimedia exhibition “Listening and vision. Don Nicola Jobbi and the 20th century Apennines”: photographs, documents, films, sound recordings collected by a priest-ethnographer from the end of the 1950s in the mountains of Teramo. A project of creative development of an anthropological and ethnomusicological archive presented to a large audience, coming especially from the mountain region. An exhibition promoted by the Centro Studi Don Nicola Jobbi, by the Bambun Association, funded by the municipality of Montorio al Vomano, by the Tercas Foundation, by Creative Europe, in collaboration with the “Melchiorre Délfico” Library in Teramo, University of Teramo – Faculty of Communication Sciences, “Sapienza” University of Rome – Department of History, Cultures, Religions, Center of Dialectology and Ethnography of Bellinzona – Leydi Fund, Memoriav, Squilibri editore and many other institutions. This event was also an integral part of the initiatives related to the European Year of Cultural Heritage.
