Várzea de Calde Linen Museum
Between June and August 2026, the Várzea de Calde Linen Museum hosted a series of guided tours and discussion sessions as part of the exhibition “The Time of Things”, offering a deeper look at the objects, memories, and stories of the local community.
The tours allowed visitors to explore the visual and audio exhibition and its electroacoustic composition, while the gatherings provided opportunities for conversation and sharing around the themes of memory, heritage, and the transformations of rural communities.
“The Time of Things” was produced by Binaural Nodar, in partnership with the Municipality of Viseu, through the Várzea de Calde Linen Museum, and with the Calde Parish Council, as part of the European project Rede Tramontana, co-funded by the Creative Europe Program. The exhibition was the result of a participatory process carried out between 2024 and 2025, involving residents of the villages in the parish of Calde.
