1. JEANNOT DETH CANLAT

Jeannot du Canlat is an emblematic figure of Saint-Lary-Boujean. Between training animals, gathering plants and searching for springs, we discover here how local people once lived in harmony with nature. Practices that are not so distant and that could inspire us today…

A film entirely in Gascon with French subtitles.
(Directed by Marco Farré-Barthe)

2. BOTA’T-I PAN

With this film, you will (re)discover the meals of bèth temps, the old days. From breakfast (eth dejunar) to supper (eth sopar), from vegetables to meat, from meals to snacks, the eating habits of the past are told by the people who hold this know-how. Everyday meals, festive meals, exceptional dishes and the most modest ones: everything is explained in detail.
