Binaural Nodar (Viseu Dão Lafões, Portugal) is a cultural organization founded in 2004 that deals with sound and visual ethnography, artist residencies in media and sound arts developed in a specific context and social research in the rural areas of Montemuro, Gralheira and Caramulo mountain ranges. Binaural Nodar has hosted more than 150 contemporary artists from all over the world and has collaborated with entities (museums, universities, galleries, artist collectives) from all over Europe, North and South America.
