Active Listening and Oral Expression Workshop

As part of the Tramontana Network project, co-financed by the Creative Europe programme, Binaural Nodar led the sound and oral expression workshop “I Hear, I Remember, and I Feel” in partnership with the Infante D. Henrique School Group in Viseu.

The workshop invited students to listen carefully to the sounds of the school like voices, movement and architecture, and to connect these sounds with personal memories. Through sound recording and oral expression, the students created narratives reflecting their experiences, memories, and perceptions of the shared sound environment.

The workshop promoted active, critical and collaborative listening, oral expression, personal memory and awareness of sound heritage as part of local identity and the school’s collective memory.
