Screening of the documentary “L’euilibrio del Matto. Vite e vino in Valdisieve” by Marco Magistrali and Filippo Marranci, Italy 2014, duration: 52 minutes. A choral narrative, a journey that begins in the earth and returns through the cultivation of vines and wine in a valley in the Tuscan Apennines. Thoughts, gestures, and sounds permeate a constant tension in search of balance.

“Matto” is the name given to the traditional Rufina cart used to transport wine because, with more than a thousand bottles stacked on it, it moves forward “dancing” against the force of gravity. Shot in the wine-growing region now known as “Chianti Rufina,” this film is a production of the association “La Leggera” as part of the European project “Réseau Tramontana.”
