Presentation of podcast and singing concert
Organised by La Leggera, as part of the Creative Europe Tramontana IV project.
Presentation of the eight-episode docu-series written and produced by Francesco Tanini in collaboration with LASCITO (‘La leggera’ Social Archive of Intangible Culture of Eastern Tuscany). The podcast recounts from different angles the Nazi-Fascist massacre in Berceto (Municipality of Rufina, Metropolitan City of Florence), where, on the morning of 17 April 1944, 11 civilians were brutally murdered.
It was also an opportunity to introduce the ‘Maggiaioli di’ Ponte’, a new group of singers from the Maggio tradition in Pontassieve (Florence), and to listen to the first results of the workshop entitled: ‘Gruppo di canto spontaneo’, dedicated to the transmission and learning of traditional oral songs from the Valdisieve.
