SECOND INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF THE TRAMONTANA NETWORK

The Council Hall of the Province of Teramo hosted the press conference launching the Second International Forum of the Tramontana Network, a European initiative that has been promoting the intangible cultural heritage of mountain communities for over fourteen years. The Forum is scheduled to take place in Arsita, in the Province of Teramo, from September 24 to 27, 2025.
The press conference featured several key speakers, including Gianfranco Spitilli, who is the director of the Forum and a representative of Bambun APS, Renata De Rugeriis Juárez the president of LEM-Italia, also spoke at the event, along with Camillo D’Angelo President of the Province of Teramo, Catiuscia Cacciatore the Mayor of Arsita and Caterina Cacciatore President of the Association Altofino.
The Forum is organized by Bambun APS in collaboration with LEM-Italia, the Municipality of Arsita, and the Association Altofino. The programme will include film screenings, conferences, and the official inauguration of the Rondilà – Cultural Heritage Centre of the Upper Val Fino.
Returning to Arsita, where it was first established in 2011, this edition will feature several intensive internal working sessions as well as three public events. The Forum will also collaborate with the REVIVE project, which is coordinated by Itaca ETS and supported by the Creative Europe Programme. REVIVE focuses on revitalising historic villages through intercultural initiatives and the promotion of local cultural heritage.
