Description:
Livestock farming has been a central axis of the agro-pastoral world since the dawn of the Mediterranean civilisations. What gestures, paths and words are used in caring for cattle in a cowshed in Contrada Li Massimuccë, a small place in the province of Teramo, and in extensive open-air rearing in Raso, a small Portuguese village with fewer than ten inhabitants?
An audiovisual essay by Luís Costa, part of the Doctoral Programme in Artistic Creation of the University of Aveiro.
Work produced by Binaural Nodar (Viseu Dão Lafões, Portugal) in partnership with Bambun APS, Centro Studi Don Nicola Jobbi and the University of Teramo (Abruzzo, Italy).
