An initiative of La leggera as part of the Creative Europe Tramontana IV project.
As part of the A dimora project, the municipality of Londa hosted the artistic residency of documentary filmmaker Andrea Grasselli. During his stay, audiences had the opportunity to watch and discuss a trilogy of his documentaries devoted to ritual events in the Lombardy Alps: Mas, il sacrificio della montagna (2015), Solenne triduo dei morti (2017), and Zenerù (2021). The first film was directed by Giorgio Affanni, with Grasselli as assistant director, while the other two were directed by Grasselli himself.
Together, these works offered a remarkable fusion of documentary anthropology and auteur cinema, presenting a poetic and thoughtful gaze on the relationship between people, landscape, and tradition. This initiative was part of the wider Tramontana IV project, providing valuable opportunities for reflection and exchange—both scientific and stylistic—on the affinities and contrasts between Alpine and Apennine communities and environments.
