Organized by GO2Albania, as part of the Creative Europe Tramontana IV project.

In December 2024, the NGO GO2 Albania will install a series of educational information boards at the “Democracia” High School in Vermosh, as part of the Creative Europe Tramontana IV project and with support from the Prespa Ohrid Nature Trust (PONT).

Titled “Book of the Albanian Alps”, the boards aim to support non-formal education by helping students better understand the natural and cultural heritage of their region—specifically the Albanian Alps National Park and surrounding villages such as Vermosh, Lepushe, and Nikç. Written in both Albanian and English, the materials include detailed topographic maps and information on local traditions, environment, and history.

This initiative follows earlier activities such as summer schools and environmental workshops, and will offer young people in this remote area new tools to develop a stronger sense of place and identity rooted in scientific and historical awareness.
