Book presentation and concert
Organized by La Leggera, as part of the Creative Europe Tramontana IV project.
Meeting with poet, storyteller, writer, musician and singer Federico Berti from Monghidoro (Bolognese Apennines), heir to the centuries-old tradition of storytellers of the Piazza family of Bologna. The famous storyteller Marino Piazza also frequented the market squares and fairs of Mugello and Valdisieve.
Federico Berti, in addition to continuing the tradition of storytellers, has also collected the heritage of the so-called ‘tacabanda’, originating in Val di Taro in the province of Parma (Emilia-Romagna), true one-man bands. The occasion also marked the presentation of his latest book: ‘Pietramora. Il sasso di San Zenobi e la sua leggenda’ (StreetLib, 2024), a fascinating study of the historical and legendary events surrounding an enormous ophiolite, considered ‘sacred’, located near the Raticosa Pass in the Apennines, halfway between Florence and Bologna.
