Organized by La Leggera, as part of the Creative Europe Tramontana IV project.

The invitation from the “Compagnia della Torre” of Montebonello (a hamlet in the municipality of Pontassieve) to include an initiative by the association “La Leggera” in its calendar of summer evenings for the town’s residents is an opportunity to recount the association’s laboratory experiences in the transmission of oral knowledge, particularly with regard to the workshop called “Gruppo di canto spontaneo” (Spontaneous Singing Group). 


The work of the “Gruppo di canto spontaneo” focused on learning, by ear, the repertoires and styles of the local oral vocal heritage, of peasant, artisan, and mountain origin. The initiative was entitled: “The everyday song.”
During the evening, the musical groups “Suonatori della Leggera” and the Laboratorio di Musica Contadina di Colognole, which are part of the association, will also perform.
